The widest knife slots are 2" and it holds 1 steel, 2 large knives, 4 medium knives, 4 smaller knives and a set of 6 steak knives. The core of this knife block is Brown Maple and it measures 5" wide by 10" high by 10" deep. Can be made without steak knife slots, for same price. Just order this one and mention that you would like no steak knife slots at "check out". NOTE:
This one was engraved with the family name on the front under the scissor slot ~ Yours doesn't come with that engraving. Usually ships in 1 week.
