When we saw this wood with the FDA approved food safe finish on it, all we could say was, "WOW, that's a cool orange-red color!" Before the finish on this wood was naturally orange, but the poly finish really brings out the color. It's not a bright orange, it's more of an Orange-Red. This padauk is from Africa and reminds us of a beautiful orange-red sunset. The board measures 11" x 7" and comes mounted on rubber feet with stainless steel screws. A Stainless steel cheese knife is attached.
